These are the terms for using Sonder. Please read them.
By using Sonder, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
You must be at least 13 years old to use Sonder. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this minimum.
You're responsible for keeping your phone number secure and your account credentials private. You're responsible for activity on your account.
The logs, photos, notes, ratings, comments, and other content you create on Sonder are yours. You retain ownership.
By posting content on Sonder, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, transmit, and back up your content for the purpose of operating the service. This license ends when you delete the content or your account, except for content others have already saved or referenced (for example, in their Want to Go bookmarks) and for backup copies we retain for a limited time.
Don't use Sonder to:
We may remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section. Reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
You can delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We can suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms. We will let you know unless doing so would interfere with an investigation or be unsafe.
Sonder integrates with Apple, Google, Supabase, Cloudflare, and PostHog. Your use of those features is also subject to their terms. We are not responsible for their services or content.
Sonder is provided "as is" and "as available." We don't guarantee that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that recommendations from your friends are accurate. You use the service at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonder and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you have paid us in the past 12 months (if any).
We may update these Terms. If a change materially affects your rights, we will notify you in-app. Continued use after the change means you accept the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
